Tennessee Weekend

We drove down to Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday (only took 3 1/2 hours) to spend the weekend with friends and family. Drew's cousin Todd got us tickets to the Tennessee vs. Georgia game. It was an incredible game and stadium! There were more than 103,000 people in attendance! University of Tennessee is such a cool campus, Drew wishes he could of gone there. But obviously he didn't get in for a reason.
Here are some pictures from our little weekend trip.

This is the view from the UT stadium, heading up to our seats.
Todd, Drew and I (Todd is a Professor there at UT)
The band. The final score was 45-19! It was a great game to watch!
Before heading into the Stadium. Todd gave us UT gear to wear so we weren't out of place.
Drew's friend Schuyler (who is attending Law school at UT) took us to the Smokey Mountains. We ended up spending like 2 hours on the scenic loop going 2 miles per hour. Everyone in front of us stopped to look at every deer they saw. I guess they had never seen deer before.

Schuyler and his baby...the motorcycle. Drew wouldn't dare put his arms around another guy.
Drew wishes he had his own bike. Sorry, not going to happen!

What a fun weekend! Thank you, Todd for the tickets!! We had so much fun hanging out in Knoxville, we are so grateful for such wonderful friends!

Trash to Treasure...(thanks mere)

(the picture quality isn't the greatest...sorry)
I saw this idea on another blog so I decides to do it this conference Sunday. This picture frame was all scratched up so I dressed it up. All you do is write on the glass!! This was such an easy, cheap, and creative way to make your own dry erase board!

(Again... sorry for the poor quality picture)
I have been annoyed by all the Walmart bags stuffed underneath my sink, so I decided to finally do something about that. I found this idea on the same blog I found the dry erase board.

I just finished this book by Randy Pausch. I was watching Oprah when I heard about Randy. I told Drew I wanted this book. It was only 10 bucks on Amazon. The book arrived 3 days ago and I couldn't put it down. It was a very easy read and very inspirational. You can find the Lecture on YouTube as well.

What type are you?!

Click Here and take the Jung Test I-E S-N F-T J-P** It will only take you a few minutes.

I took this test and I'm an ISFJ and Drew is an ESTP. Its pretty interesting reading about each personality type because its all so true ( minus somethings, but its pretty accurate.) If you search and learn about your type, it will give you career options. Its crazy because they had down homemaker, health educator for my options. Drews first one was CEO, then Sports management. So intriguing!!

Leanne (my supervisor for my Internship) is really into personality types and seeing what your strengths are and building on them. She had me take this test. Personally, I love learning about these different personality tests, makes me more aware of how I work and also those around me.

Give it a try and let me know what type you are!

Just a little Update

I love this picture of us. We are on a cruise on the Rhine River in Germany.

Stephanie's day:
6:30am- wake up and get ready for Internship in downtown Louisville.
(depends on when I want to go in, sometime I get there at 10) 8:00am- arrive at internship, wrapped in a blanket (my 'office' is located in the basement of this old building, everyone has heaters under their desks) and hopefully find a parking spot.
At my internship I have been working on the Bike Louisville Blog also I have another project figuring out where Physical Activity (classes, gyms, walking trials, bike lanes etc) and Nutrition (where the schools are getting their food, farmers markets, etc) are provided in Louisville. I'll be creating a blog, and also a map of where each location is at in the Louisville Metro Jefferson County area.
12:30pm- Leave the freezing dungeon, head home for lunch, do some laundry, and get ready for work.
1:30pm- Leave for Work (usually takes me 15 mins to get there. I work at Hoops Acceleration. My work is pretty fun, I have been enjoying it more and more. We have kids come in and we just work their butts off. Last week I actually had to clean some girls throw up, so gross!! Believe me I scrubbed and washed my hands multiple times. Never have to clean someone else's throw up up. We as trainers just follow protocols for plyometrics and the treadmill. Its some pretty intense stuff.
7 or 8:oopm- I leave work to head home to cook dinner or have dinner all ready for me to eat.
10:00pm- Go to bed, to get ready for the same exact thing the next day.

Drews day:
9:30 am- gets up wishing he could find a job and then just searches and calls around for jobs. (He will get one soon, nothing is falling through yet.)
10-3pm- I don't really know what he does during this time. I know he spends time looking for jobs, running errands, cleaning, dishes, etc.
4:30pm class starts
7:00pm class is over comes home and I try to have dinner ready or if I'm not home Drew has it all ready.
10-12am watching sports if the Giants are on.

We have been busy, but I know its good for us. Drew will find a job soon. I know it will all work out as it should. We are so blessed and grateful for all that we have!
